Tuning Tips for J&J Slide

Here's some tips for tuning the J&J Slide for optimum performance.
As with any tuning device, most of it is trial and error, but here are some good starting points.
James recommends you start with the sliding ring weight in both of these
positions and fine-tune the position of the ring weight from there:

Position 1 - sliding weight covering the rear holes halfway and the front holes halfway;
sliding weight rotated so the middle holes are blocked off:



Position 2 (part one)- sliding weight covering the back edge of the rear holes:
